The goal was to design a game changing experience for eCommerce applications in Iraq and the world at large. Bastiya as a brand aims at being the industry standard for social commerce integrating familiar tools and features into one hub of solutions that fits everyones business/commercial needs. Making the platform web and mobile accessible was key to its adoption and maintaining consistency of usability between both mediums was challenging and thats why doing it was fulfilling.

This project perfectly represents my abilities to take ownership of an idea from the ground up, being responsible for the branding and and user experience. As a visionary it was important for me to visualise the end product and how it was meant to be observed then infuse that into every design decision made towards a rewarding experience.

The first deliverable for this projects was UX audit of the existing platform and extensive competitor analysis because you can't surpass industry standards without knowing what the industry standard is. The research and analysis involved helped me put together a list of usefull features that helped boost the products offering and the brands value proposition.
